JIM MUNSON RELEASES NEW BOOK
RCPPC member Jim Munson is happy to share that his new book, The Quiet Poet, is now available through the Amazon bookstore. It’s a collection of poems written over the past few years—quiet reflections, small moments, and the stories that stay with us.

All author-profile profits from “The Quiet Poet” will be donated to Milk Crate Kitchen, a volunteer-run program housed at Rose City Fire Presbyterian Church in Portland, Oregon. Milk Crate Kitchen prepares and delivers chef-prepared, cooked meals to neighbors facing food insecurity. Your purchase will directly support that work.

Jim shares “Thank you for reading, for supporting the work, and for being part of the community that makes projects like this possible. Warmly, Jim

PLAY STREETS INTERVIEW ON OPB
Our Building Coordinator Kate Sechrist was recently interviewed about Play Streets on Oregon Public Radio. Play Streets was a coalition of Hollywood District non-profit orgs (Rose City Park Presbyterian Church, PlayWrite Inc., Mother & Child Education Center, The Community for Positive Aging, and The Northeast Community Center), plus generous funding from the Portland Bureau of Transportation. It allowed us to provide three Hollywood street fairs (Fun Fests) that transformed our neighborhood into a vehicle-free fun zone, ensuring a safe and active space for people of ALL ages to enjoy playing and connecting with their community!
