Prayer Gathering

In the past few weeks, many of us have wondered how our church (and we as individuals) might meaningfully respond to the many painful events and worrisome developments happening in our nation right now. The Adult Discipleship Committee has heard this longing and would like to extend an invitation to join together for prayer following worship from 11:30-12:30. The purpose of this gathering will be to pray for our nation and community, yes, but also to discern what action we are being called to take to stand up for our closely held values. Our hope is that out of this time of spiritual attention will come a call to action, whether that be works of advocacy or demonstration. All are welcome to join but we do ask that you remain for the entire hour so that we can sit together in solidarity.
