Bach Cantata Choir - Zimmermann’s Café

Enjoy a taste of 18th-century German culture as experienced by the music patrons at the Zimmermann Kaffeehaus in 1735 in Leipzig, Germany! One of our Building Partners, the Bach Cantata Choir, will host a special concert and fundraiser on Sunday, November 16, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm at the German American Society (5626 NE Alameda St). Enjoy coffee (in a special mug you get to take home) while being treated to J. S. Bach’s Coffee Cantata (a humorous blend of coffee culture, family dynamics, and brilliant music) and other small group performances.  There will also be a raffle for gift baskets and a small silent auction to raise funds to support the Bach Cantata Choir in their ongoing mission to provide live performances of the music of J.S. Bach and other Baroque composers. German pastries will be available for purchase along with beer, wine, and other refreshments. Learn more here.
