Mental Health First Aid Training

Nearly 1 in 5 people in the U.S. lives with a mental illness. As part of their Being Well Together program, Taborspace is offering a one-day intensive training for up to 15 people, taught by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and sponsored by the Presbytery of the Cascades. The course will teach you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. It will cover common signs and symptoms, how to interact with people in crisis, how to connect people with help, as well as content on trauma and self-care. Blended Class format:
- 2 hours of online self -paced study anytime prior to class
- In-person class at Taborspace from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.
