Family Promise Picnic in the Park 2026

Location: Normandale Park (picnic area near NE 55th Ave)

Celebrate Family Promise’s 4th birthday along with current and past families and their community of volunteers.  They’ll provide hot dogs and cold drinks, and you’re welcome to bring your favorite dish to share. There will be games, face painting, giant bubbles, and more!  For more info and to RSVP, click here.  In the 4 years since opening, here are some of the impacts that FP’s movement of 400+ volunteers and 19 church partners have made:
• 70 families in shelter with 47 transitioned into safe housing situations.
• Rent assistance for nearly 50 families beyond our shelter program to prevent or end episodes of homelessness.
• 40,000+ volunteer hours from 20+ community partner organizations.
• Countless shared experiences of connection, compassion and renewed hope in a time of tremendous challenge.
